- Monthly Beeswax Treatment: Apply beeswax to your mill once a month to prevent drying and cracking, maintain its rich grain and color, and keep its natural luster. Buff with a soft cloth for a smooth, elegant finish.
- Cleaning Residual Spices: Use a compressor or an air canister to blow out any remaining spices or coffee beans, ensuring the mill stays clean.
- Avoid Heat Exposure: Do not use the mills directly over hot pots or pans, as heat and steam can cause salt to harden inside, making it difficult to clean and operate

These are beautiful pieces however I find them difficult to crank and there’s no way of knowing which one is salt or pepper. I wish they were engraved somewhere. I also find that if you turn the handle the opposite direction, it loosens the nut and the handle comes right off.
Happy with the purchase, holds a bit less pepper than hoped, but the various sizes from incredibly fine, to very chunky seem to be working well, and the aesthetics are great
